Jim Callaghan

Lawyer, executive health coach, author and business leader

Jim Callaghan is a corporate lawyer, executive health coach, author, and business leader with over three decades of international experience spanning aviation, technology, and leadership development. He is the co-founder of Wellnesstory, a health and performance company that helps leaders and organisations build sustainable energy, resilience, and wellbeing through evidence-based coaching and training. Together with his wife and business partner, Natasa, he is the co-author of Ready for TAKEOFF, a practical guide that helps individuals and organisations create lasting improvements in health, performance, and resilience.

Callaghan studied Political Science and Studio Art at DePaul University in Chicago before earning a Juris Doctor and a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. He later completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, specialising in European law. His legal career evolved into senior executive leadership roles with Ryanair, Etihad and Uber, where he gained extensive international experience in managing high-performing teams, navigating complex business environments, and leading organisational change.

Drawing on his background in law, business, and executive leadership, Callaghan now focuses on helping leaders recognise that personal health is a strategic advantage rather than a personal luxury. Through Wellnesstory, he delivers coaching programmes, workshops, and keynote presentations that integrate the science of mindset, nutrition, movement, and recovery to improve both individual performance and organisational outcomes. His work is particularly focused on the aviation and legal industries, where he supports leaders and teams in building healthier, more resilient workplaces capable of sustaining high performance over the long term.
