Enrique Opi

Director Omiwatari

Enrique has built a diverse international career over two decades across public affairs, corporate leadership, legal strategy, sustainability and education. He holds an LL.M in International Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, is certified as a Data Protection Officer by Maastricht University, and is currently a Doctorate in Business Administration candidate at Geneva Business School, where he also teaches in the Master programme.

He began his career in Brussels as a Public Affairs consultant with Ogilvy PR and Weber Shandwick, advising clients on government relations, public policy and strategic communications. He later served as Vice-President and General Counsel at EPSON Europe.

Enrique subsequently returned to Public Affairs, focusing on Catalonia and the Balearic Islands for ONCE, the Spanish Blind Organisation and one of Spain’s largest industrial groups.

He is currently Principal Entrepreneur in Residence at Long Gamma Strategic Advisory, where he works with major multinationals, with particular emphasis on the technology and business sectors. His teaching portfolio at Geneva Business School includes Sustainability Management, Change and Crisis Management, and Strategic Foresight and Future Studies.

Enrique is also the founder of Omiwatari’s think tank, dedicated to the intersection of sustainability, technology and humanism. He works in Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
